Jayson Williams in Hospital

Jayson Williams, former basketball star who played for the New Jersey Nets is on the news after being arrested and hospitalized. Police got him when he was found trashing away an hotel room, and according to officials, he was acting “suicidal”.

Williams had barricaded himself inside he room of a Manhattan hotel at approximately 4:00 am. Police had to taze him and then carry him to St. Vincent’s Hospital to be properly evaluated by doctors.

Williams had been investigated before for accidentally shooting his driver and then trying to cover up evidence.  Surprisingly, he never went to jail and now faces a re-trial.
