David Ogden Stiers Gay!
Remember Major Burns from the popular show MASH? Well it turns out David Ogden Stiers, the actor who portrayed him has come out of the closet and said to the World that he is gay! He made these revelations on Gossip-Boy.com.
I wish to spend my life’s twilight being just who I am. I could claim noble reasons as coming out in order to move gay rights forward, but I must admit it is for far more selfish reasons. Now is the time I wish to find someone and I do not desire to force any potential partner to live a life of extreme discretion with me.
In the interview (which you can read full here) David Ogden also talks about how he made this decision in order to keep working in the show business. Yes, even in showbiz where there are a lot of gay actors and actresses, sexual discriminations seem to be an issue.
David Ogden has worked in showbiz for many years and has even voiced characters for Disney movies.
