Clayton Homes – Clayton I House
Clayton Homes has become very popular after they unveiled the design of a new house that has the main goal of being energy-efficient. The company, based on Knoxville, Tennessee, presented the Clayton I House.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency this house is 30% more energy-efficient than a traditional house thanks to solar panels, a tankless water heater, renewable bamboo flooring among other things.
Kevin Clayton, said in a statement:
“We build these homes in a controlled environment away from the weather, so there’s a huge quality benefit simply because of how we build a home, we also have far less scrap in our building process than a traditional home, so there are tremendous cost savings we pass along to the homebuyer.”
