Dom DiMaggio Dead – This morning, one of baseball’s legends, Dom DiMaggio passed away at the age of 92. Although the cause of death was not specified, his wife Emily said that he had been ill and died surrounded by his family.
Dom Di Maggio played for the Red Sox and was an All-star seven times. He also has the record for the longest consecutive game hitting streak with the Red Sox. He was nicknamed “The Little Professor”
His wife said:
“He was the most wonderful, warm, loving man, he adored his children, and we all adored him.”
