Low Blood Pressure Readings
Low blood pressure is a health condition that arises when there is not enough blood being pumped to the vital organs, especially the brain and the heart. It is very different from its counterpart, hypertension, in the sense that hypertension is a condition which has no noticeable symptoms until it is advanced.

Low blood pressure readings vary from person to person. Normally a reading is considered to spell “hypotension”, the medical term for low blood pressure if the numbers are 90/60 or lower. This means that you have 90 of systolic blood pressure and 60 of diastolic blood pressure. The first one refers to the amount of pressure present when the heart pumps out blood, and the second represents the blood pressure between each heartbeat.
A low blood pressure reading will be influenced by different factors such as fitness level, exercise level, age and even height. For example a fit person, especially in the case of athletes, will have a lower blood pressure and this will be completely normal, reflecting the optimal state they are in. On the other hand an overweight patient will have a higher “normal blood pressure”.
In order to have a blood pressure reading, you’ll find it useful to get a house pressure reader. They are sold in Amazon and other online stores.
