Fun Laptop Bags for Women

women laptops Why is it that so many beautiful, stylish, fashionable, well dressed women who clearly pay a lot of attention (not to mention time and money) on themselves, their clothes and accessories, seem to be perfectly content to haul the computer back and forth from work or school in the same old boring black laptop briefcase? Don’t they know that anymore, you can find great looking, functional laptop bags that are made with today’s woman in mind? While you may not see these bags next to the laptops when you go to your local mega electronics store to buy a new laptop or to purchase other accessories for it, they do exist. And it would be well worth your time to do a bit of poking around at different stores or, better yet, why not shop online? You are sure to be very pleasantly surprised at all the different options you’ll come across.

One of the more intriguing options I found recently was a laptop bag put out by Mobile Edge. I’m really not very fond of the name and quite honestly, I can’t imagine who gave the stamp of approval for it… it’s called the Sumo Women’s Laptop Purse. I will admit, I am writing this up without having visited the manufacturer’s website and maybe, just maybe, there is a good story behind the name on this bag. But for the life of me I can’t imagine what it is. It just doesn’t seem a natural fit. For example, I don’t see a lot of women thinking, “I’m a Sumo Woman and I need a Laptop Purse. HEY! This is perfect for me!” (with my sincere apologies to all the Sumo women out there who have thought that… I’m just thinking from a marketing to the masses approach here).

Anyway, whatever the deal is with the name, the bag itself is great looking, fun and functional. It comes in red and black (obviously I prefer the non-traditional red), and the normally square corners have all been rounded off. In fact, my first impression of the bag was that it reminded me of a bowling ball bag! Now that’s fun! It is made of durable, lightweight ballistic nylon and they have used white top stitching on it to give it a kind of quilted look. You will no doubt be pleased with this bag, such a departure from the norm.
