Pictures of Glamour Models Changed My Life

I have a brother named Mike. We used to be close, then we weren’t and now we have a plan.

Mike and I are both photographers, it’s the one thing we have in common. It’s helped us bond in the past when we had nothing else to talk about. But since Mike moved to D.C. and I moved to Los Angeles we haven’t been able to go on photo shoots together. We used to hike in the woods and take amazing pictures of trees and lakes and mountains in the distance. Now he’s busy and I’m busy and although we take pictures on our own it’s not the same, we’re not walking through that silent peaceful space that the woods provide.

Recently we talked and decided we’d take pictures of things that were popular in big cities, like glamour models. I’d heard of stock image sites that sell lay persons photographs, film clips and illustrations. They charge a fee when the art sells. Often the same image is sold repeatedly bringing in a flow of income. Mike and I both liked the idea.

Mike and I were interested in learning to take pictures in photography studios, so taking photos of glamour models was perfect. We both had a few really attractive friends and we asked them to model. After working with amateur models Mike and I had a whole lot to talk about! At first our friends were excited to be in the shoots. Then they wanted to know when we were going to take a lunch break then a snack break and a coffee break. They had opinions on the best poses, the best lighting and what backgrounds we should use to match their lipstick or high heels. Mike and I laughed and laughed. Although we lived miles away from each other we were having similar experiences.

Besides that Mike and I have re-established a friendship, the other good news is that we’re now selling our photos on stock image websites. It’s really fun to look at our pictures on the sites and know that when they are bought they will likely be used in commercial advertisement.
