1. Firstly you need to fill up a bath tub with cold or lukewarm water, as hot water can sometimes be the cause of shrinking and fading the color of delicate comforter fabrics, hence it’s always better to avoid using hot water.
2. Then you need to add detergent in the tub filled with water, swish around so that the detergent mixes well and remember to add a little more detergent than you usually do.
3. Now put the comforter into the bath tub and soak it well.
4. Swish the bedspread or comforter around well for about 5 to 10 minutes, then leave it again to soak for another 5 to 7 minutes.
5. After this you need to pull out the comforter at the end of your bath tub, so that the water can easily drain out.
6. After the water has drained out from the comforter remove it and fill the tub again with cold water and then put the comforter again into it. Repeat this once again if your feel the detergent is yet left inside the comforter.
7. Lastly drain the water out again from the comforter and dry the comforter in the dryer or you could even dry it outdoors.
