What Are Coffee Pods?

Coffee pods are round tea bag sized pockets filled with real ground coffee and are designed to be used in conjunction with a coffee pod machine. All major coffee manufacturers such as Douwe Egberts, Espresso and Senseo make coffee pods so you can be assured of the quality of the coffee.

How Do They Work?

Firstly you will have to fill the water chamber at the back of the machine. Only fill as much as you will need for your drink and make sure you use freshly drawn water (run the tap for at least a minute before filling). Only using the exact amount of water will be more energy efficient. Next you load the pod into it’s correct place in the machine, snap the lid down and turn on.

The boiling water will filter through the coffee pods and into your cup to give you a fantastic cup of coffee. Fill with milk, cream or sugar to taste and enjoy.

These coffee pods really come in to their own in an office environment where space may be at a premium and workers need fresh and great tasting fast and without any mess or fuss. There is practically nothing to clean up after you have made your brew. The only thing you will need to do is discard the used coffee pod.
