Should I Get a Full Novaform Memory Foam Mattress or a Topper?
One of your best options when it comes to buying a memory foam model is to buy a model from Novaform. These mattresses are just as high quality as the ones made by more expensive companies, but they come at a fraction of the cost because they aren’t as heavily advertised. There are two models that you can choose from, a full mattress or a Novaform mattress topper. Which one you choose will depend on you, your finances, and how comfortable you are in your current bed.
The only difference between a topper mattress and a full sized mattress is the thickness of the memory foam. A topper mattress is only about three inches thick, so in order to use it you need to place it on the top of an existing mattress. Otherwise you’ll end up having a very hard night’s sleep. A full mattress, on the other hand, is 12 inches thick, and this will let you place it right on top of a box spring.
Because it’s a fourth of the thickness of a full mattress, a topper mattress is much less expensive. They’re great for people that are on a budget or that have an existing mattress that they’re not ready to replace yet. If you live in a furnished apartment or dorm room they can be a great addition since the beds that you’re provided with usually aren’t as comfortable as most people would like.
If you want the full memory foam experience though, you need to buy a full mattress. Only a full mattress will be able to completely support you and completely alleviate back pain while you sleep. Topper mattresses are great, but they’re also limited by the mattress underneath them. If the mattress underneath them is too worn out, it won’t perform up to the amount of money that you paid for it.
