Enjoying Coffee All Year Round
In the Summer it can be hard to enjoy the one beverage that unites millions of people across the world, coffee. Despite the warm relief it brings in the Winter, the Summer can be a different story when you are attempting to get that morning or afternoon boost while you are already near sweating. Luckily, you don’t have to resort to buying an iced version from an overpriced coffee shop like everyone else does.
Before we delve too far into recipes, however, you should understand that coffee offers more than just a boost of energy. Yes, slimming coffee is sold and is a scam, but coffee can indeed greatly help with weight loss. You can also help to prevent a myriad of disorders as well like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, gout, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Keep in mind, however, that weight loss is mainly a benefit of drinking black coffee and not a sugar and cream filled iced version.
As for the iced coffee recipe, they don’t get much easier than this. Simply make a pot of coffee about twice as strong as usual and then add sugar once it is done in order to avoid attempting to mix sugar into a cold drink. Once it has cooled a little bit you can go ahead and place it in the refrigerator to finish cooling to room temperature or, preferably, below. Now all that will remain will be to mix in the proper amount of milk or creamer. Depending on how you like your drink you can either simply pour it into a cup of ice or you can place the mixture in a blender with a few ice cubes for a blended iced coffee.
Thankfully, no matter what time of year it is you can enjoy your beloved coffee. Play around with the ingredients and amounts until you find the perfect solution for you and you will end up with a beverage that beats anything you could pay for in a store.
