Fitting In

What drives people to do what they do? What makes people like things they like? What is the most important thing to figure out when you work with people? When you work with things like people long enough, you will need to figure out exactly how they work and how they think. Do their clothes frighten you? What do they mean by the clothes they wear? What do you do if you learn things the wrong way and you don’t look at things the way everybody else does. If you understand that, you can get all kinds of things set up.

The interesting thing about people is that they generally want to fit in with people. When you work with people who don’t make ‘sense’, what are you watching in them that doesn’t make ‘sense’? People who are fit and look a certain way can end up with a lot of interesting problems because you are afraid of them. The chick wearing the cowboy boots is really, really intimidating. How did she know to pick those out? Who is she trying to impress? what does she want? What does she want that you have that you can give them? How do you do that?

When you work on things like that, understanding how to convince the cowboy boot girl to either go out with you, leave you alone, date you, pay you money, or buy the nice zebra print cowboy boots that you’re trying to sell her can be crucial. What do people who care about clothes think about? what are they trying to achieve? What are they thinking about when they wear clothing, when they choose different things for their purchase? When you figure that type of thing out, you can get all kinds of things set up with people because now they make sense
