Oil Investor Matt Simmons Dies

Matthew Simmons, one of the most prominent oil investors in the World, has died last night after suffering a heart attack.  He was at home in Maine when the heart attack surprised even, eventually taking his life.

Many of you may recognize Matt Simmons thanks to his recent appearances on TV talking about the BP oil spill and his gloomy predictions for the Gulf of Mexico.

Bernie Mac’s Widow Sues Doctor for Wrongful Death

Ronda McCullough, widow of comedian Bernie Mac, has filed a lawsuit against Mac’s dermatologist, accusing him of wrongful death, and claiming he didn’t provide him medical care despite showing signs of distress.

In the lawsuit we learn that Mac went to doctor Rene M. Earles office for treatment on sarcoidosis lesions, but instead was for 9 hours in his office.

The doctor has claimed he decided injections were not the best treatment for the lesions, since he had reacted to a shot received by another doctor, since it was discovered he suffered from pneumonia.

Actress Patricia Neal, who won an award in 1963 for her participation in the film “Hud” has sadly passed away on Sunday.  The actress had been struggling with lung cancer over the last years and ultimately the illness took her away.
