Wanda Sykes White House – Video! Comedian Wanda Sykes today was present at the White House Correspondents dinner and she was hilarious.  This makes her the first Africa-American woman to perform a stand up routine at the dinner.

Wanda Sykes took this opportunity to joke about Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and even Sarah Palin. I found out especially funny when Hannity was the target, she said that he didn’t live up to his promise pledge to be waterboarded by the troops.

Johanna Botta Pics – Johanna Botta is a participant of “The Real World”, she is from Peru, one of the most beautiful countries in South America.  She has been Miss Peru USA and back in her country she’s appeared in some TV shows as a model.

She has recently been on Maxim magazine, with some amazing pictures on the April 2009 issue. She has graduated from the University of California. She has a popular Myspace page where she talks about what she is doing in Lima take for example this entry:

“It is 3 in the morning, i I am sitting in my living room in Lima playing on the computer on a weds night technically thursday morning. I love the fact that there is music blasting from some party nearby, i can hear it clearly! and no-one is complaining. People really enjoy themselves here and don’t take things too hard =)”

Who Got Voted Off American Idol 5/6/09

As we said on earlier news, we now know who got voted off American Idol on 5/6/2009: Allison Iraheta. Yesterday, she sang “Cry Baby” by Janis Joplin but even with that great performance, it wasn’t enough to keep her safe one more week, especially among such strong competitors.

Tnoght’s show also had as guests Daughtry, No Doubt and Paula Abdul herself.

No we have our American Idol top three: Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen in an all-male final. The next show contestants will have to sing 2 songs: one picked by them and the other one picked by the judges, who will finally get the chance to pick a song they think is apt for the contestant.

Now that you know who got voted off, it is time to prepare for next week thrilling American Idol competition.

Allison Iraheta Eliminated

Today was time for another elimination night in American Idol, sadly this time was the turn of Allison Iraheta, a young girl with an impressive voice that made it this far (and that’s no little thing).

It was a surprise for many who where sure Kris Allen would be eliminated tonight. She performed last night “Cry Baby” and also a duet with one of the favorites, Adam Lambert.

Well, we have Allison Iraheta and we finally get to see that the top 3 performers are male singers. This is the final count my friends. It’s yet another time to pick your favorites!

By the way, Allison Iraheta eliminated performance was great, we’ll see if we can find a video of it. Meanwhile you can hear last night’s performance below:

Francoise Boufhal Pics

Francoise Boufhal pics – She is the face of a new digital magazine called #5 and she is smoking hot! Her name is Francoise Boufhal and she is from Newcastle, England. Her main attribute are very clear in the photos, and we can see that over the past few years is what England has been giving the World.

And to think she had some problem finding work as a model!:

When I reached about 16 I stopped doing theatre and TV because every casting I went to I got knocked back for having such an unusual figure for such a young woman.

“I’m a 28H. Everything I went to I was told I was too glamorous and no one knew where to put me in things,” a beaming Francoise Boufhal said.

“I went on a quest for a lingerie job but my bust was too big for that even.”

“I was offered loads of work but it was all to go topless and that was not what I wanted to do.
“It was so frustrating, but it made me even more determined to be known for who I was rather than just my looks.

“I thought no matter how many times you knock me back, I’ll keep going and sooner or later something will come along I’ll be good for.”

Who Got Voted Off American Idol 4/22/09

Who Got Voted Off American Idol 4/22/09? – Tonight was another American Idol elimination night, as we continue with our American Idol news. Now, this was not a common night in the show.  Last week new rules were used and we saw how judges saved Matt Giraud from being eliminated after his horrendous performance of “Have You ever Really Loved a Woman”, so this meant that tonight two contestants would be sent home.

Do you guess who they are?

Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were eliminated. Lil Rounds sang “I’m Every Woman” and according to many people, her performance was not enough for this competition level. Anoop on the other hand sang “Dim all the Lights” and he had a lot of off-key moments that ultimately sealed his destiny in the show.

The American Idol Top Five 2009 now are: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud.

David Hernandez and Adam Lambert

David Hernandez and Adam Lambert – Remember David Hernandez? He was a contestant in the previous edition American Idol, he was involved in one of the show ‘scandals’ when it was revealed that he worked as a male stripper.  Well, Michael Musto from the Village Voice talked to him and he made some declarations about current season favorite, Adam Lambert.

Both David and Adam are gay, and Hernandez still thinks this was the reason he was voted off the show:

“It was the gay thing. That’s Middle America for you. I feel like New York and L.A. are two separate countries.”

The reporter said that Adam wasn’t voted off, so Hernandez replied “Not Yet”

Uuhh. Conspirator theories on American Idol, you gotta love that! I think this season Adam still has the lead.  Do you think he will be voted off any time soon?
