Drew Peterson Latest News – Today Drew Peterson was arrested, investigators have charged him of killing his third wife, Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in her home in 2004. Police took Peterson into custody; back in the year of her death police couldn’t find any clue that this was a murder.

As he was taken to police headquarters we could hear Drew Peterson say:

“I guess I should have returned those library books,”

Andrew Abood, one of Peterson’s lawyers released the following statement today:

“Drew has steadfastly maintain (sic) his innocence regarding the rumor and innuendo that has circulated regarding the unfortunate death of Kathleen. Although he is disappointed with the decision of the state, he looks forward to the opportunity to once and for all prove his innocence in a court of law,”

Drew Peterson has also been a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, in 2007.

A student got killed today in a shooting near Wesleyan University. The Wesleyan shooting took place at 1pm today at the “Red and Black Café” inside “Broad Street Books” in Connecticut.

After the shooting, a lockdown happened and all students and staff were required to stay inside in order to identify the suspect. Some reports say that police found a gun and recently they have found a wig.

The student killed in the Wesleyan shooting is a woman named Johanna Justin-Jinich and she was shot several times according to police investigations. Some unidentified sources say that killer could be the victim’s ex-boyfriend.

Lori Berenson, imprisoned in Peru for charges of terrorism has given birth to a child, a baby boy in prison.  She is actually serving 20 years in prison.

Lori Berenson baby’s name is Salvador Anespori Apari Berenson, and is also the child of father Anibal Apari Sanchez a former member of MRTA, a radical group who committed acts of terrorism in Peru.

Lori Berenson has been serving time for over 13 years now, and she was recently transferred to Lima in order to get better health care, she was previously imprisoned in Los Andes women’s prison for terrorists. According to her father, Mark Berenson, Lori had complications because of back problems and will need surgery in the future.

She will be allowed to keep her children in prison for the first few years, according to Peruvian laws. Those were the news on Lori Berenson baby.

The latest medical threat in the World seems to be getting beigger each day, the CDC has pronounced and called the swine flu a “serious” state. Right now there are 20 people dead in Mexico because of Swine Flu, and in America at least 8 people have been reported sick.

CDC’s Anne Schuchat said today in a press conference:

“We are likely to find it in many other places. We don’t think containment [of the virus] is feasible.”

CNN is also talking about more possible swine flu cases in Texas and at a school in New York.  But well, we need confirmation on those news, we know that news reporters love stories like this.  It is good though to remember the CDC recommendations when it comes to swine flu:

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
• Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
• If you get sick, stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Germs spread that way.
